I know for me one of the first few things I began looking into was birth annoucements when I was pregnant. It's so fun to shop around, go through the areas to create your own special annoucement to how you want it.
I was so excited when Hallmark asked me to review one of their new birth annoucements for them!
Of course once I got to the website I had a very hard time deciding on which annoucement I wanted because they have such a huge selection of beautiful birth annoucements. I let John decide and he picked the Black & White Plaid Coral Ribbon accounement with his favorite picture to go on it.
Hallmark has made the personalization process as simple as you can ask. I personally thought the process to edit the picture portion was a bit hard. They do so much of the editing for you that I had to edit the picture with my own software just to get the correct sizing down right. I had to go through this process about 2-3 times before it looked ok. Still the picture came out a bit blurry in the end despite my trying to fix it.
I think if Hallmark gave the user more options (and stop just automatically placing the picture on the card how they want it) using the website it would make things a bit easier and hopefully prevent blurry pictures like the one on our annoucement.
After the whole picture ordeal was over the rest of the process was easy as can be. They even let you personalize the back of the annoucement, plus you can add a picture as well. We chose not to add a picture but we put the words:
Once the process was done and I was onto the ordering section I discovered that Hallmark includes envelopes with your address already printed on them, so that's 1 less step you need to worry about!
I enjoyed how easy Hallmark made the ording process and I recieved the annoucements in about 1 weeks time.
Best of all, I now know where I can go for birthday invites for Makenna's birthday coming up!
