I'm not huge on pacifiers (or binkies as we call them in our house), I didn't use one at all with Makenna but John wanted to use one with Kendall so I told him we'd give it a shot. With so many choices available how does one choose though, right? Well after much research I decided the GumDrop Pacifier from Sandbox Medical was a good place to start and luckily I was given the opportunity to review them!

The GumDrop Pacifier is all one piece made of medical quality silicone and they are Phthalate, latex, and BPA free. I love the one-piece design, which makes them easy to clean, and I don’t have to worry about the pacifier coming apart or collecting dirt in weird crevices. I also love them because they are microwave sterilizer safe, which means I can wash and sterilize them with the rest of the assorted baby bottle gear.

The GumDrop is similar to the Soothie that is found in most hospitals but isn't round and as bulky like the Soothie. It has the same nipple design that a lot of babies prefer but is curved at the top to fit your babies face.

Kendall definitely prefers her Gumpdrop pacifiers compared to the Soothie that daddy still grabs on accident sometimes. The GumDrop is lightweight so it stays in her mouth a lot better. I love that the GumDrop doesn't cover her nose and of course that it shows a lot more of her beautiful face! ♥

GumDrop Pacifiers have a hole in the handle for attaching a pacifier clip so you don’t lose them while you’re out and about, and they are available in a variety of colours (blue, lavender, pink and orange) and scents (yummy vanilla or natural unscented). Of course I love the pink but we still use the lavender and orange colors we were sent as well. We were only sent the natural unscented GumDrop so I couldn't tell you how the Vanilla smells but it sounds awesome if you ask me.
