Happy Blankie is the brain child of well... a child! In 2008, then seven year old David Holdridge wanted to combine his little sister’s 2 favorite things, stuffed animals and blankies. His idea inspired his entire family and soon after - Happy Blankie was born. Starting with just Giggle the Happy Pig soon all of her favorites were born: Stomp the Happy Frog, Tumble the Happy Bear, and Chase the Happy Dog.

David and his family didn't want to just stop there though. His mom, Emily soon came up with a 2nd great idea - give a blankie to a child in need for every blankie they sell, and even let the child choose where they wanted the blankie to go!

Thus "ONE to Love, ONE to Give" became their new mission.

Emily's message to David (and her other 3 children) is 'love one another, share with others and make a difference in the world.'

Happy Blankie is donating blankies to children in need all over the world. YOU will be able to make a difference by choosing where you would like to give a blankie. When you receive your blankie you will be able to follow the instructions on the "giving is cool" tag in order to donate your second blankie. It's that easy!

Happy Blankie is offered in 3 different sizes to choose from:

• Small approx. 18” X 18” (security size: newborn – 2 years)
• Medium approx. 36” X 40” (perfect for nap time, car trips, any time! newborn – 6 years)
• Large approx. 48” X 56” (newborn – 75+ years)
  **Please note that all sizes vary slightly by animal design.**

Makenna chose "Chase the Happy Dog" and she does not sleep without it! Chase is made of the most luxurious plush "minky" fabric and the silkiest charmeuse satin. Embroidered cheek-to-cheek smile and a plush embossed ribbon nose. Trimmed and backed with satin.

Besides Makenna loving her Chase blankie, I am very impressed with the quality and size of these adorable blankies. I must confess that I even steal it every once and a while so I can cuddle on the couch with Chase. When it's hot the satin side is perfect to keep cool and like wise when it's cold we put the Chase side down over us and his soft fur keeps you warm!
