Tea Collection review and giveaway

By Jennifer (Double Duty Mommy) at 8:57 PM 427 commented
Tea Collection is an eclectic collection of clothing ranging from women's clothing to baby clothes inspired by travels around the world. Looking for beauty in everything Tea puts that vision in their patterns, textures, and designs. They use natural fibers such as wool, linen and cotton (cotton being their #1 choice of fabric)

So back in 2002, Tea started in San Fransisco with three pima cotton sweaters, yep, that's it. Now? 2011 Tea is available in more than 400 stores and in major retailers including Nordstrom and Saks 5th.

The pieces are unique, bright, cheery, very different but yet age appropriate regardless of who is wearing them.
We were sent the Feliz Pajaro 6-piece set that has sizes from 2 years old to about 12 years old!

The pieces are extremely soft and fit great on Makenna's petite frame. Below Makenna is wearing the Almond Blossom Layered Dress with the Skinny Stretchy Leggings in Rose Petal. Originally the leggings were paired with the Flamenco orange dress but that's the beauty of this collection, you really can mix each of the pieces.
My favorite of the three would have to be the Songbird Banded Dress. The colors are still bright after many... MANY washes now. No stretching or pulling has occured either which I worry about since Makenna has a bad habit of pulling on her clothes.
I'm dying to get my hands on the new Summer 2011 Destination collection. You will find colors and patterns inspired by Spain. Blues with accents of white, light green, and sunny yellow. One of my favorite dresses is the Flor Del Mar Playdress in Canal Blue. Just look at the attention to detail:

We love love love Tea and I know you will too!

My Big Girl

By Jennifer (Double Duty Mommy) at 10:18 AM 3 commented
I been having a major problem. My baby is getting older!
I keep gowing through her clothes and finding it harder and harder to find clothes that fit her. Kendall is going to be 6 months on Tuesday and I don't want to buy her new clothes. Sounds weird but I want to keep her small so maybe if I keep her in her 3-6 months size clothes it'll keep her that way?

It's just not fair at all. She needs to stay cute and tiny forever.
I know I have to buy her some more clothes so I've been looking into baby clothes online. Buying online is a bit more fun to me because when I find stores like Very, I know not many babies in my area will be wearing the same thing. Even though Kendall is a baby I still like to dress her as original as I can find. I'm already not liking her stroller set anymore because every trip we make out we see other parents stroller their daughter in the same exact stroller/carseat.

So shopping will need to happen that's for sure.
