 I recently came across Eco Nuts soap nuts in my search for more natural eco-friendly laundry soap. I was excited when Mona from Eco Nuts sent me a trial of the nuts! I didn't know what to expect so when I got them, I was skeptical to be honest. It's a dried fruit nut... how can this really work?

They don't foam up, because they don't contain foaming agents. This was disconcerting to me at first, but I decided to get over it and see whether they worked anyways!

I usually only wash my clothes in cold water but for my review I decided to wash in hot a couple times. I've done regular loads, heavy blankets, and towels all successfully. I especially had to put them to the test when my lovely daughter decided to spill spaghetti sauce on a white shirt! I was shocked that even a day later every single bit of the sauce came out even though this was already the 5th wash my soap nuts had been through (and they are generally able to be reused for 5-7 washes).
The clothes always come out smelling clean. Not clean as in like Lavender or Hawaiian Breeze but CLEAN.
