I found the most gorgeous handsmocked / handprinted clothing and thankfully I was blessed to do this great review.
The adorably cute Izzie is the pride of mother Ning's life. When Izzie was born Ning knew she wanted to pursue her long time passion that can include Izzie in a big way. Izzie n Friends Enterprise was born in 2009 & is based in Malaysia. Her dresses and tunics are absolutely adorable yet comfy, playful and cheerful for all little girls.

I (Makenna) had the opportunity to review two dresses from Ning's new Spring 2010 "Hand-painted Batik Collection". Batik is a traditional art form found throughout Asia.
The flower motif of the current batik collection is exclusively hand-painted/hand-made on colorful breathable 100% cotton. The colors chosen for all the batik collections reflect the vibrancy and multi-cultural influences in Malaysia.

I chose from the "Maya's Pink Surprise" and the "Sara's Going Green" line. I was pleasantly surprised on how quickly the dresses were shipped coming from Malaysia.

The Maya – Halter Elegance is daddy's favorite! Adorned with a 3-piece rose bouquet made with ribbons this tent-cut dress with it's gorgeous halter neckline sits so perfectly on Makenna. Fitted yet still breathable and not tight on her body at all.
The Izzie N Friends website stated that the dress may shrink because of the natural fibers but we did not find that it shrunk at all. I washed all our clothes in cold water so maybe this is why it didn't shrink. Although the pink did bleed a little bit into the white flower pattern, I kind of like it because I think that it gives the dress a little more character now. We've gotten many, many compliments on this dress and I love that I can tell other mommy's that it's so special and unique.

Makenna's favorite is the Sara - Pretty Luxury that we also received. It's very flowy with a bell-shaped bottom. Makenna can freely jump and be a little 5 year old without feeling constricted because again, this dress is also 100% cotton. She asks to wear this dress on a daily basis.
I personally love them both and truly cannot pick a favorite. (sorry about the horrible lighting...)

All the dresses are sewn in fine quality vintage material that is 100% cotton to ensure a nice fit for the little girls while being able to move freely due to its sheer comfort. Some of my favorites are from the Charlotte, Eleanor, & Ellena!

All their pieces are made for little girls size 18 months - 5 years.
