Huge thank you to KidSwitch and to all of you who entered!!! :)
How many times a day do you hear "I can do it!!" from a toddler in your life? I know I hear it all the time. My daughter has never liked getting help for pretty much anything. If it's a juice box, she can put the straw in, or she can get dressed by herself... even if she comes out wearing them backwards, lol. And my favorite? Turning the lights on or off in the house. Problem with light switches are that they are so high up, so of course I would have to lift her, she'd have to get a chair or worse find a toy to try to stand on!
That's why I'm so excited about this product I found (and disappointed I didn't find it sooner). It's called KidSwitch created by Greg & Wendy O'Sullivan.
This genius invention is Glow-in-the-dark light switch extender!
The KidSwitch is an extension stick that easily attaches to your current light switch. It's so easy to install because you only need to replace the two existing screws on the face plate with the ones provided with the KidSwitch. The bottom of the extension stick has a cute half-moon. Your child simply grabs the half-moon and pulls down to turn the light off and pushes it up to turn the light on! Best of all the KidSwitch does not interfere with adult use of the light switch.
The KidSwitch company has been in business since 1995 and has hundreds of positive feedbacks from their many happy customers. Over 97% of customers were satisfied and would recommend the Kidswitch to friends and family. No wonder they were voted the #1 consumer rated child safety product for 2008 at Buzzillions.com.
Do you have a "decor" style light switch or maybe even a double toddle switch? No problem because they have solved that problem and come out with adapters for those as well.
They come in 3 different colors: Pink, Blue and Clear
Buy it:
Only around $8.95 each, plus you can save $1 when you by two, $3 when you buy three, and $6 if you buy four sets! And believe me, you will need them in every house with a toddler running around. Once they learn they can turn on the light in their room of course they will want to turn on/off the bathroom, kitchen, living room, etc!

We have a 7 year old and a new born on the way. (Not mine my sisters) These would be good in the hallway or in the kids bedrooms. We leave the light on in the bathroom all night so using them other places would be best.
