So what is Aqua Leisure? I'm sure you've heard of it and maybe don't even know it. Aqua Leisure is a family owned company founded in 1970. Aqua Leisure generously sent us a swim vest for Makenna and a Sunshade boat for Kendall.

Makenna is getting better and better at swimming but now that it's been a year since she has been in the pool she has lost trust in herself. I didn't realize from Fall to Summer she'd lose all her confidence in swimming but now we're back to square 1 with her swim training again.

We've tried arm floaties, water tubes, circle floaties that go around her waist, etc. She really does not trust any of those what so ever. I really didn't know what to expect from the vest but honestly I wasn't too optimistic.

Today we went to a Disney Resort Hotel so we were sure to bring her vest along so she would really be able to swim in a large space without the help of Mommy & Daddy! Our pool is nice size and of course only occupied by us, but bringing her to a large pool with lots of people we weren't too sure how she'd react.

Right away she threw the vest on and instantly jumped in the pool without a second thought! She has full trust in the vest and we love that.

The vest has two large high buoyancy pads in the front on either side and two more larger pads in the back. With a zip front and buckle it is definitely not going anywhere and is adjustable to create just the right fit, not being too big on her to defeat the whole purpose of the floaty vest.

Something she has NEVER done without freaking out because she "would drown" is float on her back. Today she was constantly going on her back and again, fully trusted the vest to keep her safe.

Like I mentioned before Aqua Leisure also sent us a baby Sunshade Boat for Kendall to use! I'm super excited to get her in this and start her summer pool days as soon as we can! This ultra cool boat made for ages 6-18 months has an adjustable shade so no matter where the sun moves we can keep our little baby safe from the harmful rays!
