I'm not huge on breast feeding in public. I'm not AGAINST it for other people, I'm personally just not comfortable with doing it myself. I can't even breast feed in front of friends & family... let alone strangers! When I came across the Baby Bond I quickly changed my mind on how easy it looks like I'd be able to nurse in public.

I do know that when I tried to nurse Makenna I hated being covered up so I'd go to my room and TRY (of course I ended up having to pump because of latch issues but still, we'd try). With the Baby Bond there is no need to even have a coverup though. Mom stays covered and baby stays cool and is free to look around and bond with mommy the whole time.

Baby Bond makes 3 different versions of their sash style nurser. I was sent the Flex in the color Night. Like I said, you wear it like a sash and when you're ready to nurse you simply pull one side of your shirt down and separate the two pieces of fabric for latch. I love that back and belly stay covered and there isn't any chance of your breast being shown either because the fabric stays wrapped around while the only exposed part will be covered by baby!

The Flex comes with a thick double-layer terry cloth burp cloth that fits under an attached strap on the shoulder. It is easily removable and washable and you could easily use your own burp cloth if you wanted.

I'm excited to try this out in a couple months! The fit is great and the fabric is so breathable that I'm not afraid of getting too hot in this Florida heat/humidity. I wore it around in the car last week while John was driving just to see how I'd feel in the heat (since it's been in the high 90's around here!) and I literally forgot I was wearing it! When we got to the store I got out and John had to remind me to take it off, lol. It's extremely lightweight and the area that it does cover I didn't notice feeling extra hot there.

Baby Bond has even included a video on their site so you can make sure you are wearing it correctly.
