Out assignment today was to repost a blog post that had a title I was proud of. This was kinda hard 'cause I dont really think of my titles too much but then...
For Day 3 I chose my post "The World Of Arguing Moms... Why Do We Do It?"
I first posted this back in June. I was (& still am!) so annoyed by all the fighting and stupid arguments going on on Twitter.
We fight about bottle or breast, disposable or cloth diapers, medical or natural birth, crib or co-sleeping...
all the back & forth and the "this way is better" type conversations are getting so old. Why can't we just all accept that we all parent differently, that some things are better for other parents then they are for us.
It's just a strange thing that we do to each other. We should just be supporting each other in this crazy mommy world.

I read your original article and it is so true! I met a lot of resistance when I said I wanted to have a natural childbirth and a lot of people doubted I could or would go through with it. But I just kept thinking "shouldn't you support my decision even if doesn't end up that way?" Sigh. (I did end up going through unmedicated but I have a much greater appreciation of NOT going through it without pain relief - haha!)
I completely agree with the silliness of the bashing of the parenting skills - what's good for you is not necessarily for me and vice versa. Why is it that grown women feel the need to bully others with their opinions?
I thought about doing this .... I agree ... we all do the best we can and who cares if we don't' like what another parent is doing! Well said girl!
Great article! And love your header. So cute!!
This sounds like fun! I'll have to check it out!
totally missed that. I'll have to head over and check it out
Thanks
I'll follow your blog too
First I am totally going to check that link out - sounds like a fun assignment. But also, I totally agree with what you are saying. Though I am not a typical "mom blogger" I believe women should support eachother - period. We all should be grateful that we have the freedom to disagree, but support eachother as moms nonetheless. Great post.
(btw, LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog - beautiful! But then, I am pretty fond of pink and black! Ha!)
I do like that title! Back to blogging, I'm working on getting back into the swing of things but I just can't seem to get motivated.
AMEN. What the hell is it with women? Why must we fight over the stupidest things, just for the sake of fighting? I can't stand to see some of the stuff on Twitter or the other boards I belong to. Sheesh. If I wanted to fight with someone, I've got a husband and 2 kids at my disposal. I come online to get away from that stuff!
