Smart Bottoms Review and Giveaway

I hope you are all having a blast with all these cloth diapers because I am excited to tell you about our next sponsor and what this mama did with her company!

I'm sure you've all heard of Pampered Chef, Scentsy, Mary Kay makeup, and of course Tupperware. What do they all have in common? PARTIES! Well Christy has made it possible to attend and even host a Cloth Diaper party! Her parties are especially helpful if you are curious about cloth diapers but aren't sure if you want to take the plunge yet. You get to look over and touch cloth diapers and even see how they fit and look on your baby, you get all your burning questions answered and of course have fun with friends/family!

Doing research about cloth diapers online can take hours and hours and can be soo confusing so that's why I love this idea and wish I had known about it sooner.

If you read my Q&A session last week with Christy you know that Christy Malone is a work at home mom that started using cloth when her 2nd daughter was 6 days old. After purchasing so many types and brands and just never being completely satisfied with even the expensive $20+ diapers, her and her husband decided to design their own brand of diapers and accessories, all made here in the USA! This is how Smart Bottoms was born!

Christy sent me her Smart One, Smart Cover and a Too Smart Insert! The Smart one is an All-In-One diaper that is daddy friendly and day-care friendly for sure. It goes on just like a disposable because there is nothing to stuff or put in. It is lined with 100% Organic Cotton and Hemp Fleece plus an ultra-absorbent layer that dries super fast while the out side is lined with waterproof PUL!

The Smart One has just one row of snaps along the top but what I absolutely LOVE is the 3 snaps down the side so you get the perfect fit around the skinniest and chunkiest little thighs!

The Smart Cover is just that, a cover. Of course with any cover you need an insert and that's where the Too Smart Insert comes into play. The Smart Cover is of course lined with PUL but also a polyester jersey to help contain leaks. Using a Too Smart Insert is of course recommend because just like The Smart One is is made with 100% Organic Cotton and Hemp Fleece plus the opposite side is lined with PUL for added protection for your cover to stay dryer for longer!

Smart Bottoms also has a Smart Fold that you can lay inside of The Smart Cover instead of the insert.

My only personal wish and request to make these diapers "better"?? MORE colors and prints! Smart Bottoms only has four colors - pink, white, brown and blue. Cute yes but more cuteness must come! :)

I do love Smart Bottoms and after you follow the prep washing instructions exactly then you should have no problems with leaks. I did not (lol) follow the instructions and we did have some leaking but I knew right away it was my own fault. Since prepping my Smart One and Too Smart Insert the way I was suppose to we've had no problems to report!
