I was sooo THRILLED when I saw that they have a Boston Cream cake! Boston Cream is by far my favorite thing in the world. Donuts, cakes you name it... if it's Boston Cream I will eat it. Although i've been disappointed with some places I was EXTREMELY impressed with the Bake Me a Wish cake!

Not only did I receive the Boston Cream cake I requested but I was shocked/happy when I saw that the amazing people at Bake Me A Wish sent me the Chocolate Mousse Torte Cake as well! How amazingly nice and great is that!?

So let's start with how the cakes came happily to my door! They were shipped and arrived the very next day so assure freshness (and so they wouldn't melt of course). They were tightly packed with FOUR huge ice packs surrounding the cakes. In their own pretty elegant gift box and then wrapped again inside. I was shocked to see that even through the hot Florida weather, & the fact that they were coming from New york that the cakes were still intact and not melted at all.

The Boston Cream was so decadent and not at all over powering sweet! The light golden yellow cake was moist, the chocolate icing was perfectly sweet and the French vanilla cream was heavenly! It was definitely the best Boston Cream I've had in a long time! Believe me, I'm extremely picky when it comes to the taste and even texture of Boston cream!

The Mousse cake was John & Makenna's favorite, but I'm not surprised since they are both chocolate people! Two layers of chocolate (again very moist) cake filled with the most melt in your mouth chocolate whipped mousse in between. Then it was topped milk chocolate frosting and a dark chocolate glaze! PLUS, garnished with fudge rosettes and dark chocolate shaves!! Even talking about it I can start to taste how amazing it was again!

Another amazing thing about this great cake company is that with their Bake Me a Wish! Calendar, they can keep a record for you of any and all important birthdays so that you never accidentally forget the special people in your life. They will automatically send you a reminder asking if you would like to deliver a cake each time one of your selected dates is approaching! How cool is that?!
