DDM HGG -- GoGreen Pocket Diapers Review and Giveaway!!

By Jennifer (Double Duty Mommy) at 2:59 PM

Every where I look someone is talking about cloth diapering. Of course I have to admit that before Kendall was born I out right said I WOULD NOT cloth diaper! It was gross and stinky. I'm still skeptical but Leah at GoGreenPocketDiapers.com has helped ease some of my fears when it comes to #CDing.

Because they are eco-friendly, soft against baby's skin, and the colors and prints are just a few reasons cloth diapering has become so much more popular. I think the biggest reason is because they can save money versus disposables. I admit that it may scare some away from using cloth simply because of the start up cost. It is in fact a huge investment at first just to start your stash and use cloth full timeTo cloth diaper full time, you need a bare minimum of 20 per child, but perferably closer to 25 to 30. With most cloth diapers ranging from $15-30 each, this can cost parents anywhere from $300-600 for their stash! I looked at this price and flipped out! Of course this might not seem like a lot when you look at what you’ll spend in the long run using disposables, but as an upfront investment, it can be a huge chunk of change to drop at once!

I went back and tried to calculate all the diapers we've bought for Kendall in the very short 3 months she's been alive. I discovered we've spent almost $400! In THREE months! I love me some Pampers but o.m.g. that's just craziness.
The woman behind GoGreen Pocket Diapers started using cloth diapers when she had her third child, and bought all of the name brand diapers at $20 a pop! She knew there just had to be a way to make the cheaper and more affordable for families. That is why she started GoGreenPocketDiapers!

She has managed to make an afforable cloth diaper so it's possible to build your stash without hurting your bank account. How does buying a diaper for as low as $8.99 sound?!! Everyone loves a fluffy butt so just because the diapers cost less doesn't mean you have to give up on style. GoGreen has lots of colors and some of the cutest patterns around to choose from so you never have to settle with the norm.
Hello, zebra, leopard, tiger, and cow prints! Sooo adorable!! ♥

GoGreen Pocket Diapers are a One-Size diap with adjustable snaps. The silky diapers are made from 100% polyester knit while the fuzzy diapers are made with an extremely soft napped material. The best part is that all the diapers come with a microfiber insert but are also lined with a hidden polyurethane laminate for extra protection against nasty leaks.

We recieved the fuzzy pink stars diap and 1 micofiber insert. Let me tell you it was definitely really really soft! I was really impressed out well it fit around Kendall's chunky legs. The insert was super thick and very absorbant too.
We have yet to use the diaper through the night though. To be honest I'm pretty scared about leaks. During the day I've absolutely no problems with leaks or blow outs and belive me, this little girl can pee and poop something fierce!
There is 2 rows of snaps to adjust the diaper. Since Kendall is still pretty small I used the top snaps.

I think these diapers are pretty daddy friendly but my hubby is still scared to change Kendall's CD, lol.
I've washed this diaper a few times and so far it's held up amazingly and we have yet to discover an odor in the diap.
If you have been thinking about cloth diapering but think you can't afford it then head over to GoGreen Pocket Diapers because you can cloth diaper with this amazing prices.
