ring shopping

By Jennifer (Double Duty Mommy) at 12:28 PM
When my husband and I got married I was able to get my perfect ring but John didn't exactly get the ring he wanted. He likes his ring but shouldn't guys love their ring too?
For Christmas I was thinking about getting him another ring, which yes maybe sound weird to some people but for us it's not weird. If John bought me another "wedding" ring tomorrow that is better then my current one then I would switch it out and not think twice about it.

For us the ring in general isn't tied to our vows or that day, it's a symbol of it so buying a better one is definitely on the table.
Anyway, I don't know exactly what type he wants... I don't even think he knows but I did find some awesome black tungsten rings for men that I'm sure he will like.
I know he doesn't really like plain traditional looking rings and definitely not yellow gold (gross!). The price on the rings is affordable and I will enjoy giving him something that he loves wearing as appose to a ring he just has to wear.
*Does your husband love his wedding ring and would you ever buy him another one if he found a better one?

I have been debating what to get John for Christmas for a while so I think I have finally settled on something I know he won't be expecting and at a great price from MensTungstenOnline.com.

We got hubby a tungsten ring and he likes it a lot. Couple things to think about though when getting a tungsten ring: (1) you can't resize tungsten so if his fingers get fatter/smaller, you'll need a new ring. when we bought hubby his, he got a certificate for one free new ring in case we need a new size; (2) the ring is pretty much indestructible so if he works with his hands and it gets caught, make sure the ring can come off or he will lose his finger. they had to lube hubby's fingers when it got caught on the submarine. The nice thing about it is that it's been almost 10 years and its still shiny and you can barely see all the scratches. :)

That ring is awesome! My husband is always breaking his rings, maybe I should look into this company for a new ring, they look so sturdy!

I have been hinting at DH for ages now that we need new rings. Maybe if I get him one of these he would really take the hint and let me get one to LOL :)

Great looking rings and great prices!!
