-How far along? 22 weeks.
-How big is baby? The length of a papaya! She is about 11 inches and ONE POUND this week!
-Weight gain/loss? I honestly haven't weighed myself since last week so I have no idea if I gained or lost. Maybe I should go do that...
-Maternity clothes? I have 1 shirt but it's not necessary. Hubby just bought it at Motherhood Maternity because it has the NY Giants logo on it so I "had to have it!!" :)
-Stretchies? Nothing new! At this point that's all I can ask for!
-Sleep? Same ol'. She is not keeping me up (yet...)
-Best moment this week? Seeing John's face when he finally felt her kick!
-Movement? Wow, the past week went from really nothing major to kicking like a soccer player!
-Food cravings? Pretty much any food.
-Gender? GIRL!!
-Labor signs? None.
-Belly button in or out? Still in. Hopefully it stays that way.
-What I miss? Being able to stand for more then 5 minutes before getting tired. Also, in those 5 minutes not having to pee 1 million times.
-What I am looking forward to? Getting started on the nursery!
-Weekly wisdom? When you get pregnant, tell your boobs goodbye. They have become even worse this time around. Hubby is loving everything about them but I hate them :/
-Milestones? Again, seeing my hubby's face while he was feeling Kendall kick over and over again was amazing!! ♥

Another huge thank you to BullyDesignCo and to all of you who entered! :)
I discovered an amazing shop on Etsy called BullyDesignCo and had to tell you all about it!
Here is a little bit about the store:
"We are excited to introduce our new brand of onesie(s)! We will be using Laughing Giraffe(We love the name). Laughing Giraffe is a blend of 35% polyester and 65% cotton. This is a very soft and durable blend.
Bully Design proudly uses baby safe products. Most notably we embellish our designs with "Crystalina" Low Lead Rhinestones. Keeping children safe from all potent lead based products is extremely important."
With that being said I was excited to try one of her tees! She kindly sent me one of my favorites, "This little piggy went to the market..." so we could try it out!!
Let me tell you... the fabric... TO DIE FOR! It was sooooo soft! I washed it a couple times and besides it not shrinking, the fabric just got softer each time!
There are lots of cute things in this shop though, so check out some of my other favorites:
The best part of all? Deanna from BullyDesignCo has generously offered one of my readers a design of their choice!

"Great Expectations Quiz"
Due Date: August 4, 2010.
Weeks along: 21w, 6 days.
Career and do you have a post-baby career plan: Pre-pregnancy I was the Store Manager for a franchise owned GNC (General Nutrition Center). Now I am a SAHM. Plan after baby...? Stay home as much as possible, but if you read a previous blog post of mine, I want to go back to work. I HATE being at home 24/7.
If it were up to you how long would paid maternity last: A year!
If a stranger touched my belly right now I'd: probably move away nervously. I really don't understand why people think that's ok. If I wasn't pregnant you wouldn't just walk up to me and rub my stomach, so why now? It's not like you are actually touching the baby!!
Weirdest food I've craved this pregnancy: Spinach dip!
True or false--I can still see my feet: True.
Favorite maternity fashion splurge: Nothing out of the ordinary I suppose, just nursing bras that can get a bit costly after a while.
Most worn item of maternity clothing: My "Anytime Nursing Gown" from Bella Materna! Omg it is amazing and sooo very comfortable and breathable!
Did you find out the baby's gender? Why or why not? Oh yes, we found out as soon as we could! Hubby didn't want to know but as soon as the TV came on and he saw a little face he instantly said, "ok! I want to know!!!" lol. It was so cute but oh so predictable. I wanted to know this time because I didn't find out with my first daughter & it killed me not knowing!
How do you feel about the nude pregnancy portraits? Not my cup of tea, but I've seen some that are exquisitely done.
Planning a babymoon? Where are you headed? Sorta kinda planning. A place isn't set in stone or anything but we do know we are going somewhere! :)
Push gifts? Tacky or well-deserved? I think they are pretty tacky. Isn't the gift of your child enough? Why go out and spend money on each other when that money can be spent on the baby?
I'm passionate about: living greener and more organic.
Evidence your nesting instincts have kicked in? When I'm giving my CATS a bath, I think it's pretty clear I want the whole house to be clean! lol.
Don't forget to vote on Top Baby Blogs!!

Love this part
What a week. I'm glad tomorrow (technically today) is Friday but I have a feeling nothing is going to slow down over the week end so it really doesn't matter.
As far as my blog title goes...
I LOVE baby clothes shopping? Seriously, LOVE it. For the past 5 years now (from when I had my daughter) I always stop at the baby section and just die over how cute and small the clothes are. I'm just in aw of how big my daughter is and how tiny the clothes are!
So today me and John kinda went crazy at Carter's! :) I was happy because I got to shop some more and he was happy because he got a lot of "daddy's girl" stuff. The more amazing part? The manager that was there let me use BOTH a "$10 off $35+" coupon" AND a "20% $50+" coupon we had!!! :D It was definitely our lucky day!!
Here are some pics (which my camera apparently ran away so you'll have to live with seeing the pics from Carter's actual website, also since my G1 camera phone sucks ass and doesn't do the clothes justice but I still posted a pic of some of the clothes!)
plus a shirt for Makenna!!
Anyways, I am happy but shopping for Kendall is definitely not outta my system!

21 weeks!
It feels really weird to say that. It feels like just yesterday I was like, "ooh. I'm only 5 weeks"! Where the hell has time gone, someone please tell me?
In case you missed it in earlier news, we announced last week that bby is a girl and her name will be Kendall Rose!! :) I'm soo excited and loving the name more and more each day. SO FAR it hasn't gotten old or worn out yet. Let's hope it stays that way, shall we!
Time for the quiz:
-How far along? 21 weeks
-How big is baby? The length of a banana. Approx weight=12.4oz, Approx length=7 inches
-Weight gain/loss? I weigh 126 today. Somehow lost 2 lbs within the past week. That's 14 lbs up from pre-pregnancy.
-Maternity clothes? Just now getting into shirt. Still don't need new pants :)
-Stretchies? Not anything new... lol
-Sleep? It's ok. Back is starting to hurt more and more each day though.
-Best moment this week? Deciding on a name! It makes her official!
-Movement? Thankfully she is loving mommy right now and kicks lightly but I do feel her swimming around in there.
-Food cravings? Eh, not really anything major I suppose.
-Gender? GIRL!!!!
-Labor signs? Nope.
-Belly button in or out? In :) It didn't pop out with Kenna so hopefully it stays in this time as well.
-What I miss? Being able to walk and breathe at the same time! lol
-What I am looking forward to? Getting started on her Ballerina theme nursery!
-Milestones? Finalizing on her name.
Okay, that's it for tonight! Don't forget to vote on Top Baby Blogs!!

A SAHM wanting to work??
So rewind 3 months. December 4th I became an official SAHM. Why? Well we were 2 months pregnant and both John and I decided a long time ago that once we were pregnant I would leave my job.
I didn't have a hard job at all. Please, it was probably the easiest jobs I could ever had. I was the store manager for a independently owned GNC. The husband & wife team pretty much made their own rules and because we weren't a "corporate store" we didn't really have any guidelines we had to follow. So seriously, it was awesome to work there.
Of course I had gain knowledge of vitamins, herbs, supplements, sports nutrition, etc (so if you ever have questions... feel free to ask, lol) but hey, who doesn't like a little more education in their life?
So besides that, I just sat around on the stool, cleaned, got online on my G1 phone, and talked on the phone.. well besides helping customers but please, we averaged about 40/day.
Even with the ease of all that, I left GNC. Here's the thing though: I HATE being at home. Hate it! I've always been a little worker bee sorta speak. I really do love working as odd as that may sound. Sure, it can be stressful and I may not get along with everyone I work with, but dammit I love it.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the time I've had at home with Makenna and I want to be there 100% for Kendall too. I absolutely LOVE to cook and I'm such a perfectionist that I always have to clean the kitchen and make sure things are in their place, so being a SAHM is really perfect for me since I can control everything. John does help, he cooks and cleans, so no it's not just me. HE does his fair share so I'm not trying to take any credit away from him what so ever.
I really want a PT job somewhere. Will John let me though? No, lol, and that's the problem. He doesn't want me to work at all. I'm sure any other women would jump on the opportunity but I want to work. Not a lot, maybe just 10-15 hours a week AT MOST. And honestly, I don't even care where it's at really. Well, ok, I take that back but you know what I mean.
*sigh* I don't know what I'm going to do. Probably nothing if I can tell you the truth. I'll just continue what I'm doing for a while I suppose.

Kendall Rose
John and I decided to let everyone know what baby #2 is going to be and it's official, we have a GIRL!
(if you can't tell: her butt is in the top left corner and then you can see what sorta looks like an L. that's her leg and foot. So then look under the L and you can see that she's a girl)
I've been SOOO excited and happy I got my way... I mean my 2nd girl!! Lol. Grandparents would have been thrilled either way but John's mom is especially happy because she has mostly boys in the family. This little girl is going to be spoiled beyond words, we already know it! About the name, well Kendall we just both fell in love with so it stuck in our top 5 names for a while but now it's finalized as her first name. Her middle name is going to be Rose and that came from John's *late* grandmother's first name. She was a huge part of John's life and I'm all for honoring family members who made an impact on your life!
More about her measurements, she is 100% perfect and on schedule. Only her legs are off and they are measuring 5 days MORE then how far I am along. It doesn't surprise us since John is so tall (6'3").
((P.S. PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE ON: http://www.doubledutymommy.com NOT http://doubledutymommy19.blogspot.com If you haven't read, I bought my own domain so the GFC followers link will not work if your address bar says the "blogspot.com" address!))

No Tooth Fairy?
Um... wow. So to say that I had a VERY eventful evening would be taking away from really what it was.
The day started out ok, besides the "severe thunder storm" warnings that would be hail and the tornado warnings we were having. Oh and I'm sorry the fact that there wee like 150 lightening strikes in a 20mile radius... yeah, the day started out ok.
Just lounged around, answering email after email.
Tonight though, wow. I thought I would have a quiet evening watching "Private Practice" and attending the weekly #bfcafe on Twitter. Instead? Well instead Kenna's tooth decides to finally fall out! She has had 4... yes FOUR (the top middle 2 and bottom middle 2. They all came in pretty much at the same time so I'm not surprised they are lose at the same time as well) loose teeth for about 2mo's now. Well one of the bottom ones came out. Okay, right? No, because she "doesn't know what happened to it"! How do you not know something like that? She said she didn't swallow it and she said she didn't spit it out. So I'm thinking "wellllll wtf do I do now?!?" She has been waiting and she knows she needs to put her tooth under her pillow for the Tooth Fairy. PLUS, I'm sad because that's her first tooth and now I can't even save it. The situation just frustrated me in general because you guys don't know me daughter. She instantly thought she was in trouble for losing her tooth, so she freaks out and cries! Sometimes (this being 1 of those times!) when she cries she gets in this whole separate state of mind. You can talk nice and TRY to get through to her but it just does not work. She's too wrapped up in crying to care what you're saying.
On another note.. more positive! I'm getting a whole brand spanking new Blog Design. I know, I know, I JUST got this one like... last week? Good night!!
P.S.
Don't forget to read my other blog post "Busy busy busy day" to read how you can earn FIVE extra entries in each giveaway!!!! I have 48 sponsors AS OF NOW. That number just seems to be growing and growing. So if you want a part of this HUGE event then be sure to claim your extra entries!!!

Baby, baby what are you?
We saw our midwife yesterday at the birthing center. Ya know, the normal stuff happened; had to pee in a cup, yep, my protein and everything was normal. Had to get weighed, at 121 (gaining "beautifully" she added). Heard the baby's heart beat, 160. U/S... you all will never know, lol.
I have to stick with my hubby and not tell anyone what the gender is. Sorry. :)
Onto other news, my networking, PR work and getting sponsors has been going wonderfully! I am actually enjoying finding all these amazing giveaways for you guys.
"Showering Mommy & Baby" won't be starting until April. Since I already got a few things in the mail yesterday, I need some time to review and test them out and along with all the other products that will be arriving within the next couple weeks. We're up to25 48 sponsors and hopefully that number keeps on climbing. Of course I'm not super women so all of the sponsors I have won't be featured in the Event but rest assured they will be reviewed and given away at a later time! Sponsors range from products for nursing to maternity clothes to even something a little sexual for everyone who wants to put that little spark back in your love life!! ;) hehe.
I can't wait and I'm getting more and more anxious every single day!
Thanks again for allllll the support I'm getting! Please help promote the giveaway and blog:

Busy, Busy... BUSY day.
So wow, today was hectic, probably beyond words. Besides the normal mommy stuff, I was pretty much MIA from the Twitterworld today because I have been networking and emailing & replying to tons of companies. My little "Ooo, I have a couple giveaways coming up" excitement and blog has now turned into "Holy shit Batman, I have about 20 giveaways (maybe more) coming up!" and it all happened in the span of a day! So of course, I'm now figuring out dates and things to start each giveaway. And since I have so many sponsors now it has become a full blown event. Now the name; well it's going to be called "Showering Mommy & Baby Giveaway Event" cuz why should should we only have a Baby Shower!? :)
But also, I was thinking... as a little incentive... I will be giving out five... yes FIVE, that's 0-5 EXTRA entries to EACH of the giveaways I do within this event. The catch? Well that's pretty simple of course, nothing too dangerous or anything.

10 Honest Things About You
HONESTY
self explanatory. Just write 10 things about yourself and be honest.
1. I very much so miss my teenage years. I always tend to think back to specific times and I actually get sad over not living that way anymore, or being able to do certain things.
2. I'm extremely emotional in every way. I can cry over almost anything, I get upset at almost anything, I get annoyed with most anything. I don't necessarily like that about myself so I'm trying to adjust some of my tendencies.
3. I absolutely love being pregnant in every way. Knowing what will come in those short 9 mths, seeing my belly getting bigger (sometimes by the day), hearing the heartbeat for the 1st time... and each time after, feeling every little movement as small as some can be, and finally seeing the baby on the ultrasound. I do hate the crazy hormones, morning sickness, boobs and other bodily changes that are sometimes just scary, though.
4. I feel really overwhelmed most of the time. I do get lost of help from John but I feel like my plate is never emptied, it's always full.
5. I love to cook! 100% adore it. For the longest time I looked into going to a Culinary School but then figured out I didn't really want to cook as a career but more so just as a passion. There are more Food Network shows set to the DVR then any other channel. I'm always learning, always trying new things and always having fun while I cook.
6. I've come to the conclusion that I don't really have a career goal in mind. I suppose I'm just one of those people. I just want to make sure I'm a great wife & mother and have a little side job on the side just for my own sanity.
7. I've tried about for American Idol. Yep, in 2008, but because that show is RIGGED beyond any words of explanation I didn't get through. I don't think American knows how horrible the initial (not the singing in front of the judges round) audition round is. It really opened my eyes and now I look at American Idol in a whole different light because I went through that experience.
8. Being a mom has changed so many things about myself. It has taught me a little more self control, I have gained more patience (even though yes, I still lose it sometimes), it has taught me what true love really is. Being a mom has brought me so much joy that I really don't think anything else in this entire world can top it.
9. I love McDonald's. I'm sorry but I do. Regardless of the health issues it can bring. Their BBQ Chipotle wrap and fries are almost my favorite thing to eat along with their Sweet Tea.
10. One of the hardest things for me during this pregnancy was to give up Pepsi. But I'm glad to say that I havn't had any soda in 15 weeks (the first few weeks I did still drink it sometimes.) and actually.... I'm ok with it now and don't crave it anymore. Plus, I drink more water now then I ever have in my life so it's a good thing.

Wordless Wednesday?
So I was trying to write a blog earlier and just sat staring at the computer because I couldn't pick anything to talk about. I left my page and browsed around and came across what apparently is "Wordless Wednesday" and I thought, wow, that's sorta me right now. I really have no words today. How fitting.
Being 18 weeks today I thought I'd just post a questionnaire about my pregnancy thus far. Enjoy.
How far along? 18 weeks
Maternity clothes? Nope, I carry really high. Even with my 1st pregnancy I was able to always wear my regular clothes.
Stretch marks? Not any new ones.
Sleep? I sleep just fine.
Best moment this week? Uh, I'm not sure. Just feeling move and move movement.
Movement? :) Yeah, No hard kicks or anything like that yet.
Food cravings? Cereal
Gender? Don't know yet.
Labor signs? Nope.
What I miss? Nothing. I absolutely love being pregnant.
What I'm looking forward to? BIRTH!
Weekly Wisdom: Breathe.
Milestones: None this week.
Emotions: on and off. I'm usually pretty ok but I had a couple moments of weakness this week.

And that's the way the cookie crumbles
Well, like I said, I knew the weather yesterday wouldn't last. Middle of the night/early morning what did it do here? POUR down rain and all day it's been so windy that Makenna was literally getting pulled by the wind when she took the trash to the garbage can a little bit ago. Yes, I laughed that a 5 year old almost got taken away by the wind but still, where did the nice warm-cool sunny weather go?
So today, being what turned out to be a chill day of painting and coloring gave me some time to ponder a few things.
I am not liking where we live. It's never felt like home. It's a beautiful house, don't get me wrong but I just want to come through the door and feel that "ah" sensation. I remember when John and I got our first apartment and looking back, man, I miss that place. I don't know what it was about it. Maybe just because it was our first place together. Where we live now is a million times nicer and I'm not saying I want to go back to the small 1,059 sq foot 2 bedroom apartment we had, but I just want the feeling I had coming home.
Maybe I just need to redecorate, maybe it's just the hormones talking right now, or maybe I just actually want to move and get out of this house?
In 6 days we (& when I say "we" I of course mean I since John doesn't want to know) what the baby's gender is! I'm so excited! With Makenna I didn't know till the day before she was born, for sure, that she was a girl. I knew the whole time but it was never confirmed by a doctor or u/s.
I'm excited for being able to actually begin buying clothes and stuff for the nursery and everything else that I like to be gender specific. I'm not into the whole yellow duckies, bears or frogs thing. Sorry, I think boys should be in blue and green & girls in pink and purple most of the time, that's just me.
So believe me, the second we leave the birthing center on Monday our next stop will be Babies R Us and Target to begin our adventures of shopping. I'm not too sure if John is ready for this and I don't quite think he knows what is in store for him. He goes to the mall with me 24/7 but this will be like no regular shopping trip I can tell you that. Then I'll need to adjust our baby registries. The Babies-R-Us won't need too much adjusting if we are having a boy. Rewind back when I was just 7 weeks along we went in the store to create our registry, John to say the least went baby boy stuff crazy because he's always thought I was having a boy. Which is more so wishful thinking on his part but whatever floats his boat! I hope he's wrong and I will have to delete all that blue stuff though.
Call me selfish but I want another girl. Girls are so easy, fun and so loving. I love my daughter and I want another girl in the house so when the girls are older we can all go shopping, and have girl talk at a cafe. Plus, I like the girl name we picked out better then the boy name.
Yeah the whole, "I dont care as long as the baby is healthy" thing is in my mind, of course, what kind of mother would I be if I only loved the baby if it turned out to be a girl!? BUT, if I may pick what's the crime in wanting a certain gender?

It's a nice day?
I was really beginning to think Florida wasn't capable of nice weather anymore. It bugs me that last year we were swimming, going to Sea World every single day (before work or after work), going to the beach. This year are we doing that? No! We're stuck inside with the heater on full blast to 76 degrees day and night.
Today we've actually been able to go out to the park, turn the heat off, open the windows and actually enjoy fresh air.
I wish this niceness would continue because I feel like planting a garden and have pretty flowers everywhere. Kenna loves doing that sorta thing and I love spending time with her. Unfortunately I'm not very optimistic and I foresee a future of cold and rainy days, like it has been.

Calm down Mrs. Emotional
Seriously, this pregnancy is going by way too fast. I feel like I'm waking up each day and a month has gone by. My 1st pregnancy felt like it took forever and this time around it is the complete opposite. Which this pregnancy is the complete opposite in EVERY way possible from my 1st come to think of it. It makes me sad that it's going by so fast. But on the other hand I'm so excited it's going by fast because the sooner I see my baby the happier I am.
Just as I thought I was getting in control of my emotions again, I feel like I'm losing a grip on them once more. Today I was kissing John goodbye and while hugging him I began to cry. Of course he's like, "Why are you crying?!" (like I'm crazy) and it was because I didn't want him to leave. Seriously, he leaves everyday and I guess today was just an off day and my stupid tears just decided to come out and say "HI!". It was weird for me and in the midst of all it all I began to laugh 'cause I knew I was being crazy.
Anyways, Makenna has also began to get on every nerve possible. Yes, she's 5 and that happens regardless sometimes, but, she has begun to very much so get into this faze of "why this" and "why that" every 2 seconds. She wants to know why somebody did something or said something! On a normal day to day basis this would not bother me and granted it's the only thing she is doing that is annoying me, BUT I don't want anything to annoy me. I just want us to watch "Tinkerbell & The Lost Treasure" without hearing "why did Clarence do that, mommy" when we've watched her movie about 32 times since Santa brought it for her last year, so she knows why Clarence did "that"! lol.
My point is, I just want my emotions to stop being crazy. I want to be able to watch a commercial for Oprah and not get teary eyed when she is talking about her next show on Family Reunions. Is that too much to ask?
